SF MFA Manual Setup in MS Auth

If you are logged into SF, logout and close the browser tab containing the SF login prompt.

Open a new browser tab and navigate to SF login page and login with your User Name/PW.

When you see the screen above, select “Choose Anther Verification Method.  Then select “Use verification codes.”

Don’t Scan the QR Code.  Chose “I Can’t Scan the QR Code.”

Copy the Key and send it your phone, either by emailing it to yourself or through Teams if you have Teams on your phone.

Now open Authenticator on your phone.

1. Delete the existing SF account.
2. Press the “+” on the upper right to add new account.
3. Choose “Other” as the type of account to Add.
4. The camera will activate.  Press the button below that says “Or Enter the Code Manually.”
5. For Account Name put Salesforce.
6. Paste the Secret Key out of the email you sent yourself.
